In order to support the National EWGA goals, the Austin, TX Chapter has defined the following local goals:
EWGA Austin, TX Chapter Goals
Provide high quality golf and programs for women at all skill levels
- Use original, fun formats in league play and weekend events
- Promote participation in sectional and association events
Provide a comprehensive educational program for members
- Clinics for new and experienced golfers
- Play days for practice
- Fun games during leagues
- Professional group lessons throughout the year
Actively work to enhance EWGA as a professional organization
- Gain higher visibility through activities, sponsorship and public relations activities
- Embellish our networking role that extends beyond the golf course
- Share EWGA with high level executives and secure their participation
- Assist membership to actively use EWGA for making business connections
Give back to the community by assisting selected community support programs with financial contributions and volunteer efforts.
- Support of Rally for A Cure
- Continue to support and mentor LPGA- USGA Girls Golf Program
- Support the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
- Build a chapter of the Girls' Golf Club in Austin. (A jointly sponsored effort by the Girl Scouts and the LPGA)
