Time For Membership Renewal?

EWGA Headquarters mail a personalized renewal form about one month before your membership expires, and then send a series of email reminders. If your membership lapses, you will no longer have access to the handicap system, or EWGA benefits.

If you are having problems with online renewal (e.g. forgot your login and/or password), you can send your renewal by fax or mail instead. Alternatively, call EWGA on the toll free number at 800-407-1477 x10 for assistance by phone.

Looking forward to your continued membership in the Austin Chapter in 2014

Member Benefit Discount Codes

  • EWGA members receive benefits on everything from travel, golf, shopping and much more! The list is extensive and you need to check it often to make sure you aren’t missing out on anything.
  • Remember – new benefits are added often – so whenever you want to make sure you have the most up-to-date benefits, log into the EWGA Member Clubhouse at http://www.myewga.com and click on the “Benefits” tab at the top of the page

What If You Get A Hole In One?

  • First you celebrate! And then you realize you want to spread the word and be recognized!
  • Through our partnership with Troon Golf, any member that makes a hole-in-one during an EWGA-sanctioned event receives a complimentary round of golf for four at a Troon Golf facility.
  • You just need to send a copy of your scorecard, attested by your playing partners, and verified by the club’s Golf Professional (if possible). Also include the yardage of the hole, the hole number, and the golf club you used to make the shot.
  • Send your information to Amanda_hoey@ewga.com and she will coordinate with Troon to have your certificate for your complimentary golf sent to you – as well as get you posted as an inductee of the Hole-in-One Club on the EWGA website!

Member Privacy vs Required Contact Information'

  • As an EWGA member, if you are concerned about having your personal contact information appear online (ewga.com site), there are a couple of options to allow you to control what you want to appear
  • The option of marking your record in the EWGA database as “Do Not Publish Online” is available, however it has negative consequences. If this is done to a member record, then the member is blocked from being able to login to the EWGA Member Clubhouse and the Handicap Service. We do not recommend this option.
  • Some members go online and delete their mailing address, phone and email so that it won’t appear online. We definitely do not recommend this option as then there is no way to communicate with them at all (head quarters, or locally).
  • The best option is for members to login to the Member Clubhouse (www.myewga.com) and update the “Privacy Settings” under the “My Profile” tab. You can then choose very specifically which information you want to show online, and to whom (Including nobody).

Update Your Member Profile

It’s important that every member has the correct information in their online record in the EWGA database.

There are three easy ways to update your member profile:

1.    Go to www.ewga.com, click on the big green “Sign In” button, login to the member portal, and then click the orange “My Information” button on the left side of the page.

2.    Download the member update form.

3.    Call the EWGA toll free number at (800) 407-1477 x10 and provide your updates by phone.

Problem Logging into EWGA.com?

Many members have issues trying to log into association headquarters - ewga.com. Follow these instructions to get success:

1.    Go to http://www.ewga.com/ and click on the big green SIGN IN button.

2.    Use your email address as your USERNAME (this is the one in the database that is used for all EWGA communications).

3.    Use Password1 as your PASSWORD the first time you login (this is the temporary password given to all new members)

4.    If you are a current member and have forgotten your password, you can hit the button to reset it and will receive an email with a new temporary password.  (If this doesn’t work correctly for you, please send an email tomembership@ewga.com and we will reset it for you.)

5.    Once you get your new temporary password and go back to sign in, you’ll be prompted to change your password.

6.    Use Password1 (or the new temporary one provided to you by email) as your old password, then enter a new one.

7.    You will now be in the EWGA Member Portal.

8.    You can click on the orange HANDICAP box on the left side of the page to enter scores, on the MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL box to make dues payments, on the MY INFORMATION to make updates to your member information, or on the MEMBER CLUBHOUSE link.
